Web Developer (Bishan area)

Job Description:
* Understudy from vendor and ensure the team is well-versed with the application and technical aspects of the
Content Management System, the solution, database design and;
* Responsible for analysis, detailed design, development and testing of the modules assigned and support of
the system and;
* Work with vendor to establish user and IT procedure to ensure standardization of platform adoption across
all Business Units
* Work closely with the rest of the team to develop and deliver the project
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with 4 to 5 years’ Java/ J2EE/ SQL procedures development
with BEA platform
* Essential to have at least 2 years’ local experience
* Working experience in Java/Jsp IDE like Eclipse, NetBeans etc
* Working experience with WebLogic Integration / WebLogic Workshop added advantage
* Good understanding of J2EE architecture / Workshop framework / Struts framework
* Experience in Web Technologies like HTML / XML / Java Scripts
* Experience in Java Technologies like EJB / JSP / Servlets
* Experience in Ms Server and/or JMS
* Experience in using XML parsers and Database frameworks like Hibernate
* Experience in Actuate Reports
* PL/SQL programming skills
* Portal products like Vignette, BEA portal etc
* Familiar with structured programming methods and standard methodologies
* Knowledge of latest products/developments in the industry especially in the web arena
* Good interpersonal, communication skills, independent, have initiative and should be able to be a team player
* Self motivated, able to multi-task and work independently under extreme pressures as well as to be able to
work in a team
