Responsibilities

- The Production Supervisor provides leadership to ensure systems and processes are efficient and properly executed in the day-to-day operations.  Key responsibilities include:
- Acts as the point person for troubleshooting problems.
- Assign and distribute workload to team members appropriately. Conduct regular staff and one-on-one meetings to review status of job and provide performance feedback.
- Complies with company schedule hours and enforces the same with the employees.
- Contributes to process improvement on a regular basis.
- Interface with clients and/or external vendors to identify and resolve production related issue.
- Provide solutions and implement new workflows to execute accurately and timely product. Ensure staff is reviewing data to ensure accuracy.
- Responsible for ensuring team project reports and performance data measurements are captured and distributed accordingly.
- Works closely with the Production Director regarding extensions, media errors, down press issues and conflicts with employees or support staff

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Advertising, Marketing or Business Management
- 3 – 5 years experience in production related field
- Well versed in Software Skills of either Quark 6.5 or In-design CS2 / CS3
- Skilled with MAC-based software including Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat
- Knowledge of packaging and/or print technology will be an added advantage
- Matured, hardworking and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to start work immediately
