Group Accountant

Job Description: * Prepare monthly consolidation accounts, management reports, budgets, cash flows * Provide support to Business Unit in analyzing financial and operations results and highlight areas of concern * Assist in supervising account team; cash flow management * Assure integrity of financial information * Handle all corporate tax issues and statutory board returns in Singapore * Ensure all reporting requirements are complete and met in a timely manner * Ensure compliance with Headquarters accounting policies and local statutory board financial requirements * Act as front line liaison with auditors, government institutions, affiliates, etc * Assist in Sarbanes Oxley Act Compliance * Special assignments and projects as required Job Requirements: * Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent with 3 years of financial accounting, and 1 year in a manufacturing environment OR Diploma in Accountancy with 7 years of financial accounting experience * Good analytical skills * Good communication skills * Extensive knowledge of processing software such as Spreadsheets (Excel), Word, Powerpoint, Accpac, etc * Working knowledge of ERP in a manufacturing environment
